Dave Gray, a visual thinking expert, is addressing the importance of visual ways of communication. Starting with the language, it covers way of thinking and working accordingly, as he said. We all know language we use determines pretty much of the way we see the world. In the world of digitalization, visual language, he continues, is significant and supplementary way of communication. In particular, it was interesting that he distinguished SYMBOLIC and VISUAL language. Both are non-linear in common, but symbolic one is quantitative and specific, which makes it hard to cover many aspects at the same time. Visual one, however, can be detailed without losing faces because it is less condensed.
